Low Frequency
About
Low-frequency therapy, also named as TENS (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) is globally used in medical centres and beauty clinics. Low-frequency units work by delivering small electrical impulses through adhesive pads that are placed onto the skin. The electrical impulses flood the nervous system, reducing its ability to transmit pain signals to the spinal cord and brain. Alongside this, the same electrical impulses also stimulate the body to produce natural pain relievers called endorphins.
Benefits
Low-frequency therapy, therefore, can aid a variety of conditions and circumstances including:
Arthritis
Menstrual pain
Knee, leg, back and pelvic pain
Sport injuries
Pain during labour
Stimulation of muscle fibres
Stimulation of organ function
Use in Our Products
The Low-frequency device is utilised in the form of a belt that connects to our N-4 and N-5 products. The ergonomic design allows for its application areas to range from the abdomen, legs, feet, to the lower and upper back, shoulders and hands - each providing the benefits listed above relevant to its area of use. Programmed at 40 minutes per session, Nugabest’s user-centred design allows for personal control of the intensity levels via the multi-purpose remote control.
